Wicked
Wicked is the worldwide blockbuster “Big Musical” based on a story which is a ‘prequel’ to Wizard of OZ.
Based on the acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire that re-imagined the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz', WICKED tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two girls who first meet as sorcery students.

Cast changes
December 2011 Cast Changes
There will be cast changes at Wicked! the Musical in December 2011 with Louise Dearman (Glinda), Mark Evans (Fiyero), Clive Carter (The Wizard), Julian Forsyth (Dr Dillamond), Zoe Rainey (Nessarose) and Ben Stott (Boq) playing their final performances on Saturday 10th December 2011.
Rachel Tucker will continue in her role as Elphaba into 2012. Julie Legrand (Madame Morrible), Nikki Davis-Jones (Standby Elphaba) and Chloe Taylor (Standby Glinda) are also all staying with the show.

Mark Evans
Mark Evans replaced West End leading man Lee Mead as Fiyero in Wicked the musical from February 7, 2011.
Mark appeared in Wicked in the ensemble and as the understudy Fiyero in 2007, and will now be taking the lead male role full-time, alongside Rachel Tucker and Louise Dearman.
Since March 2010, Mark Evans has been starring as Curly in the UK tour of Oklahoma! And in 2009, he was a finalist in Eurovision – Your Country Needs You.
Other credits include Troy in High School Musical at the Hammersmith Apollo and Brad in the UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show.
Lee Mead
Lee Mead joined WICKED London as Fiyero from Monday 10 May 2010, and did his last performance on Saturday 5th February 2011.
Nominated for an award for ‘Best Takeover in a Role’, Lee Mead gives his final performance as Fiyero in WICKED on Saturday 5th February, 2011

Mark Evans replaces Lee Mead as Fiyero. Other principal role changes include Zoë Rainey (Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray at the Shaftesbury Theatre) taking the role of Nessarose and Ben Stott (Jack in Sondheim’s Into The Woods at the Open Air Theatre) will play Boq.
