Sound of Music UK Tour

Jason Donovan was originally playing the role of Captain Von Trapp in the tour of The Sound of Music until the end of June, but he is now staying with the show until 17th September 2011 (with the exception of Nottingham 19th July-6th August) when the role will be played by Keiron Crook.

Verity Rushworth is playing Maria until 6th August when Connie Fisher rejoins the show for the dates at the Cardiff Millennium Centre 23rd August-3rd September: Manchester Palace Theatre 5th-17th September: Newcastle Theatre Royal 20th September-8th October and at the New Wimbledon Theatre - 11th-22nd October

Casting for Captain Von Trapp is not yet confirmed for the Newcastle and Wimbledon dates.
