Singing In The Rain - Musical

Singin' In The Rain the stage musical Opens on the 4th February, 2012 at the Palace Theatre in London's West End.

Singin In The Rain as produced by the Chichester Festival Theatre is the musical which will transfer into the Palace Theatre in London's West End replacing Priscilla Queen of the Desert after that show closes with a final performance probably on New Year's Eve 2011.

Singing In The Rain the stage musical is based on the classic MGM musical film with Gene Kelly

Booking opens for Singin' in the Rain on 26th September 2011 with previews starting on 4th February 2012 and a provisional opening date set for 15th February 2012.

The West End run of Singin’ in the Rain has extended booking at London's Palace Theatre until 23 February 2013 so there's plenty of opportunity to pick up best seats as part of Theatre Breaks packages right through the most popular months of year if you book ahead.

Set at a time of change in the film world, Singin’ In The Rain follows silent movie star Dan Lockwood who has everything he could ever want; fame, adulation and even a well-publicised romance with his co-star Lina Lamont. But there are rumours doing the rounds of a new kind of film that could alter everything, a kind of film where actors talk, and sin, and dance!

  • Adam Cooper as Don Lockwood. Previous credits include Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre, Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, On Your Toes and The Wind in the Willows at the Royal Festival Hall and Zorro on tour in the UK
  • Daniel Crossley as Cosmo Brown. Crossley’s London theatre credits include work at the National Theatre and at the Opera Air Theatre
  • Scarlett Strallen as Kathy Selden. Strallen has also appeared at the Open Air Theatre, and in the West End as Mary Poppins and in The Witches of Eastwick and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
  • Katherine Kingsley as Lina Lamont. Kingsley has appeared in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for the Donmar, Aspects of Love at the Menier Chocolate Factory, Piaf at the Donmar and Vaudeville, and High Society at the Shaftesbury Theatre
