Oliver! The Musical
Oliver! the musical is the well known adaptation from Dickens’ Oliver Twist, now opened in London’s West End on December 12th 2008 with Olivers and Nancy selected by TV’s “I’d do anything” show and a full cast including the children from Fagin’s gang.
Oliver! is one of the most beloved British musicals, which brings to life Dickens' timeless characters with its ever-popular story of the boy who asked for more. Cameron Mackintosh presents this re-staging of Lionel Bart's Oliver! based on Same Mendes' 1994 reproduction at London's Palladium.
Oliver continues until 8th Jan 2011 when The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane will prepare for Shrek The Musical

Oliver! Christmas Cast Change 2010/2011
Griff Rhys Jones returns to the role of ‘Fagin’ in Oliver!, from 6th December 2010 to 8th January 2011, when the show ends its run at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Russ Abbot, who is currently playing the role of ‘Fagin’, will leave at the end of his contract on Saturday 4th December. Kerry Ellis will continue as ‘Nancy’ with Steven Hartley continuing to play ‘Bill Sikes’ until the end of the run.
On Saturday 13 November, Kerry Ellis will be performing at the 'Festival of Remembrance' at the Royal Albert Hall. For these two performances only, Jodie Prenger will return to the role of 'Nancy'.
Over 2 million people have seen Oliver! since the show opened in January 2009. With a cast and orchestra of over 100, 25 songs & millions of smiles, Oliver! in London finally comes to an end on 8th January 2011.

Kerry Ellis will play the role of Nancy from 29 March 2010 alongside Griff Rhys Jones as Fagin and Steven Hartley as Bill Sikes.
Kerry Ellis (Wicked, We Will Rock You) is lined up to take over from Jodie Prenger as Nancy in the current West End production of Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Jodie Prenger will give her last performance on 27 March, with Kerry Ellis taking over from 29 March 2010.
The current cast also features Steven Hartley as Nancy’s abusive boyfriend Bill Sikes, Julian Glover (as Mr Brownlow), Julius D'Silva (Mr Bumble), Wendy Ferguson (Widow Corney), Julian Bleach (Mr Sowerberry/Dr Grimwig), Louise Gold (Mrs Sowerberry/Mrs Bedwin) and Tamsin Carroll (alternate Nancy), as well as teams of alternating child stars. Griff Rhys Jones takes over Omid Djalili as Fagin from 14 December.
Kerry Ellis will start on 29 March, 2010 playing alongside Griff Rhys Jones as Fagin and Steven Hartley as Bill Sikes.
The part of Fagin
Griff Rhys Jones is back to play the role of Fagin for 5 weeks only over the Christmas season from Monday 6 December 2010 until Saturday 8January 2011, when the show ends its record breaking run. Russ Abbot, currently playing the role of 'Fagin', will leave at the end of his contract on Saturday 4 December 2010.
Griff Rhys Jones took over from Omid Djalili as Fagin from Dec 14th 2009.
Griff's last performance is on Saturday 12 June.
Russ Abbot is Fagin from 14 June
One of the most popular entertainers in Britain will be taking over the role of Fagin from 14 June. Russ is no stranger to Oliver! having played the role of Fagin at the Palladium, Theatre Royal and on tour!
Russ's other on-stage credits include Grandpa Potts in hit musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Alfred P. Doolittle in My Fair Lady. Most recently, Russ played the role of Hobbo in the latest series of BBC 1's Last of the Summer Wine.
