Lauren Samuels was the first of the Dorothy contenders for The Wizard of Oz to land a West End leading lady role by taking on Sandy in Grease where she will continue until around the end of January 2011. Lauren has also recently helped to workshop a new musical.
Lauren Samuels as Scaramouche in We Will Rock You
Big news for Lauren Samuels is that she will be playing the big West End role of Scaramouche in We Will Rock You in London this year, 2011.
Some reports say from 8th August 2011, but Lauren's own twitter in July said "Start rehearsals in sept and open start of oct :)"
Lauren Samuels in The Last Five years

Lauren Samuels, a finalist in the BBC TV "Over the Rainbow" contest who is currently playing Sandy in Grease at the West End's Piccadilly Theatre, will star next in a new London fringe production of Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years.
It begins performances at Chiswick's Tabard Theatre February 9th 2011, prior to an official opening on February 11th 2011, for a run through to March 5th 2011. Lauren Samuels will star alongside Christopher Pym.
