London's Finborough Theatre has announced its late summer and autumn programme including:
The UK premiere of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Me and Juliet. Thom Southerland will direct the production, which will run from October 5th to the 30th
UK premiere of Suzan-Lori Parks' In the Blood (Aug. 17 β Sept. 4). Daniel Burgess will direct.
Also set for full weekly production is Walter Greenwood and Ronald Gow's 1930 play Love on the Dole (Sept. 7 β Oct. 2), which will be directed by Beckie Mills and feature a company that will include Liz Bagley, Janie Booth, Ben Crowe, Emily Dobbs, Joe Evans, Colette Kelly, William Maxwell, Jack Monaghan, Sadie Pickering, Carl Prekopp, Matthew Randall, and Fiona Whitelaw.
Noah Haidle's Saturn Returns (Nov. 2-27) will be the Finborough Theatre's fourth full production for the latter part of 2010.
In addition, the company will present three offerings that will run on Sundays and Mondays alongside these productions:
- Graham Greene's The Potting Shed (Sept. 12-27),
- an adaptation of Nikolai Gogol's The Tale of Ivan vs. Ivan (Oct. 10-25)
- Ben Ellis' The Captive (Nov. 7-22).
