The Cock Tavern Theatre is a new fringe theatre venue in the heart of Kilburn, devoted to bringing only the highest quality new works and critical revivals. Under the artistic direction of ADAM-SPREADBURY-MAHER, resident companies Good Night Out Presents and OperaUpClose maintain an exciting and challenging programme with a strict commitment to world premieres and revivals from world class playwrights. Hotel Sorrento, by Australian playwright Hannie Rayson, had its UK premiere at the Cock Tavern Theatre on Friday 21st August, 2010 twenty years after it was first written.
Adam Spreadbury-Maher’s production in the tiny Cock Tavern Theatre is intricately and cleverly staged.
